Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors aged below 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. This is why we encourage parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent the collection of data on children without parental permission. QuakeShield only uses technical and functional cookies as well as analytical cookies that do not invade your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure the website functions properly and remember your preferred settings, for example. We also use them to optimise our website. You can disable cookies by setting your Internet browser in such a way that it no longer stories cookies. In addition, you can also remove any previously stored data via the settings for your browser.

Accessing, amending or removing data

You have the right to access, correct or remove your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any permission for the processing of data or object to the processing of your personal data by QuakeShield BV, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can request us to send your personal data to you or another organisation specified by you. The data will be sent in a computer file. You can send a request for access, correction, removal or transfer of your personal data, or a request for the withdrawal of your permission or your objection to the processing of your personal data to info@quakeshield.com. In order to ensure that the request for access has been sent by you, we would kindly ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with your request. Please black out your passport photo and the MRZ (machine readable zone: the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), the passport number and the citizen service number (BSN). This serves to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. QuakeShield also wishes to point out that you have the option of submitting a complaint to the national supervisory body, which is the Dutch Data Protection Authority. How we secure personal data

QuakeShield BV takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised access, undesired disclosure and any unauthorised amendments. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured after all, or if you have reason to suspect abuse, please contact our customer service department via info@quakeshield.com.
